I admit I did watch American chopper several times but was never
really hooked mainly because the dysfunctional family dynamics were too close
to home. Yet, when I read the history of
what happened prior to the show I was amazed at the negative situation that
kept appearing time and time again. Timing
was perfect for the reality show with the all too raw situations. As you go through the history of the show and
watch as things continue to build you would assume the end result would be
tragic. Paul J., in his inspiriting story,
shows how you can do the right things for the right reasons and still be happy,
successful and maintain one’s faith. His
journey back to his religious foundation that his mother instilled in him is a
good message for all. While I’m not a
chopper fan, nor did I really cared that much for the show I would encourage you
to read this book not for the entertainment value but for the strong message it
send to it readers.
I received this book from Blogging for Books for this
review.
